On behalf of the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation (UNPO), you are cordially invited   to attend UNPO’s Media and Communication for Human Rights Defenders Training Program, taking place in the International City of Peace and Justice – The Hague, between the 21st and 23rd of November, 2013.

This Training Program is designed to bring together UNPO members from a wide range of nations and backgrounds and other interested parties with a deep interest in Human Rights in the Netherlands. The aim is to train the participants in both formulating a message and communicating it in the digital century, while at the same time enjoying an opportunity to network with peers.

THIS EVENT OFFERS

– Workshops on campaign management and communication.  

– Interactive sessions on website creation and internet security.

– Training Workshops on interviewing and video editing.

– Presentations on the use and need for social media.

Kindly note that UNPO is unable to arrange and pay for your travel and accommodation. Once you have registered for the event however we will provide you with information on arranging accomodation in The Hague.

 

 A small participation fee of €50 is requested for the event 

in order to cover facilitation, lunches and publishing of training manuals. As this training has a very limited number of available spots, early registration is advised.
