UNPO Academy:
A Strategic Hub Where Peoples’ Rights Meet Global Strategy

The UNPO Academy is a dedicated Hub focused on unrepresented nations and peoples. It acts as a forward-looking platform that connects grassroots realities with  forward-thinking analysis, policy innovation, and strategic support. Activists, human rights defenders, scholars and allied institutions come together to generate knowledge, craft solutions and shape narratives that reflect the lived experiences and aspirations of unrepresented communities.

The hub examines the political, cultural and human rights challenges these communities face, while also addressing the complex geopolitical dynamics they must navigate as non-state actors in an increasingly multipolar world. In this context, shifting power balances and competing global agendas often influence, or restrict,  the space for political participation, representation and recognition.

By combining rigorous research, capacity-building, real-time monitoring and scenario planning, the HUB equips communities with the tools and insights needed to influence international agendas and advance their right to self-determination.
